 You have been brought through a portal, likely by a misinformed wizard or teenager trying a spell far beyond their skill level. It was purely an accident, they assure you, but they aren't sure how to send you back directly where you came from. It happens often enough since all this started that there are places you can go - small shelters around the world to stay until you can get on your feet with everyone else. There are shops that take in new arrivals and schools for minors to attend or apprenticeships to take. The citizens here do want to try to help you. Things like this have been happening for several decades now, and with the legalization of magic, the local communities stepped in to provide such resources for misplaced folks like yourself. There isn’t a sure way yet to send everyone back to their exact homes the time they left. So for the time being, enjoy the stay in Viduale and what the world has to offer!
